Food insecurity impacts every part of daily life in our families and communities, from health disparities to school performance. Access to adequate and nutritional food can make a significant difference in improving the quality and longevity of our lives.

Core program at KCFA
The core program at KCFA is our food shelf program. We operate choice style shopping models at our food shelf located at the Borderland Alano Club in International Falls. Our food shelves participate in the TEFAP federal program and we make our best attempt to offer a variety of free food and goods at all locations including: frozen meats and dairy, when available . To be eligible for this program, shoppers must be income eligible (income at or below 300% of federal poverty level) and are required to fill out a single page intake form once a year. Shoppers can shop at our food shelf twice per month.
